پيشگفتار

خانواده‌هايي كه از كودك عقب مانده خود در خانه مراقبت مي‌كنند در محاصره مسايل متنوع در همه اشكال و اندازه‌ها قرار دارند. اين مسايل با ميزان عقب ماندگي كودك، معلوليت جسمي و هيجاني همراه با آن، ارزش‌ها، علايق و شرايط محيطي ديگر اعضاي خانواده فرق مي‌كنند. وجود كودك عقب مانده ممكن است موجب فشار بر بودجه خانواده (هزينه تدارك و مراقبت پزشكي، حمل و نقل، يا روش‌هاي درماني) شود (مظاهري، باغبان و فاتحی زاده، ۱۳۸۵).
داشتن كودكي با عقب ماندگي ذهني باعث بحران و كمتر ظاهر شدن در اجتماع مي‌شود و اغلب باعث جدايي والدين مي‌گردد. تئوري عمومي سيستم‌ها به اين موضوع توجه دارد كه خانواده يك گروه به هم پيوسته است، هنگامي كه بحران تعادل اين سيستم را به هم بزند اين گروه ضعيف مي‌شود. اثرات كودكان بيمار يا ناتوان و عقب مانده در سيستم خانواده مي‌تواند زياد باشد. مسئوليت‌هاي مالي، اختلال در زندگي زناشويي، ايزوله اجتماعي و كاهش زماني كه والدين مي‌توانند با كودكان سالم خود باشند به عنوان تنش‌زا در خانواده‌ها شناخته شده است (حجازي، ۱۳۸۵).
خانواده يا گروه هم ممكن است مثل فرد، نياز به سازندگي داشته باشند. سازگاري خانواده فرايندي است كه به نگه داشتن تعادل خانواده برآورده مي‌شود. براي يك سازگاري موفق خانوادگي، مهارت‌هاي خوب در برقراري ارتباط، حل مسائل در برقراري ارتباط با ديگران، احترام متقابل اعضا و خانواده، منبع كافي براي سازگاري و تجربيات با تنش‌زا بايد وجود داشته باشد (پوتر و پري ، ۱۹۹۷).
هدف از تالیف کتاب حاضر بررسی اثر بخشي آموزش مهارت‌هاي حل مساله اجتماعي بر سازگاری مادران كودكان عقب مانده ذهني بوده است. بدین منظور از جامعه آماري كودكان عقب مانده ذهني در مدارس ابتدايي كودكان استثنايي شهر تهران كه در سال تحصيلي ۹۲-۹۳ مشغول به تحصيل بوده‌اند، با استفاده از روش نمونه‌گیری تصادفی چند مرحله‌ای تعداد ۳۰ کودک انتخاب شدند و مادران این کودکان در پژوهش شرکت کردند. در این پژوهش از پرسشنامه سازگاری بل و یک برنامه ۵ هفته‌ای (هر جلسه ۹۰ دقیقه) حل مسله اجتماعی استفاده شده است. تحليل داده‌ها نشان داد که آموزش حل مسله اجتماعی در مادران کودکان عقب مانده ذهنی (گروه آزمایش) باعث افزایش انواع سازگاری (تندرستی، خانوادگی، اجتماعی، هیجانی، شغل) و به صورت کلی باعث افزایش سازگاری نسبت به گروه کنترل شده است و نشان داده شده است که این آموزش می‌تواند انواع مهارت‌های سازگاری را در این مادران بهبود ببخشد.

Preface

Families caring for their retarded child at home are beset by a variety of issues of all shapes and sizes. These issues differ with the degree of retardation of the child, physical and emotional disability along with it, values, interests and environmental conditions of other family members. The presence of a backward child may put pressure on the family’s budget (the cost of procurement and medical care, transportation, or treatment methods) (Mozaheri, Baghban and Fatehizadeh, 2016).
Having a child with mental retardation causes a crisis and less appearance in society and often causes separation of parents. The general theory of systems pays attention to the fact that the family is a connected group, when the crisis disturbs the balance of this system, this group becomes weak. The effects of sick or disabled and retarded children in the family system can be great. Financial responsibilities, disruption in married life, social isolation, and reducing the time parents can spend with their healthy children are known to cause tension in families (Hijazi, 2015).
A family or a group may need to be built like an individual. Family compatibility is a process that is achieved by keeping the balance of the family. For a successful family adaptation, good communication skills, solving problems in communicating with others, mutual respect of family members, sufficient resources for adaptation and stressful experiences should exist (Potter and Perry, 1997).
The aim of this book was to investigate the effectiveness of teaching social problem solving skills on the adaptation of mothers of mentally retarded children. For this purpose, 30 children were selected from the statistical population of mentally retarded children in primary schools for exceptional children in Tehran, who were studying in the academic year 2012-2013, using a multi-stage random sampling method, and the mothers of these children participated in the research. In this research, Bell’s adjustment questionnaire and a 5-week program (90 minutes each session) to solve social problems have been used. The analysis of the data showed that teaching social problem solving in mothers of mentally retarded children (experimental group) increased all types of adaptation (health, family, social, emotional, job) and generally increased adaptation compared to the control group and showed that It has been shown that this training can improve all kinds of adaptation skills in these mothers.
