پيشگفتار

مشارکت سیاسی یکی از مباحث مهم در جامعه شناسی سیاسی و یکی از شاخصه‌های توسعه سیاسی در کشورها به شمار می‌رود. تصور بر این است که در جامعه‌اي که شهروندان مشارکت کافی در امور سیاسی ندارند، احساس تعهد و دلبستگی چندانی نیز به نظام سیاسی وجود نخواهند داشت و به عنوان نیروي حامی و مشروعیت بخش این نظام در شرایط بحرانی عمل نخواهند کرد. اعتماد اجتماعی از جمله مهم‌ترین عوامل تاثیرگذار بر مشارکت سیاسی می‌باشد. بنيان بسياري از تعاملات و کنش‌هاي روزمره در جوامع انساني چه در زمينه ارتباطاات میان فردی و چه در حوزه ارتباطات اجتماعي بين گروه‌ها بر پايه اعتماد بنا شده است. ترديدي نيست که بهبود وضعیت اعتماد اجتماعی و سياسي در هر جامعه در پشتيباني از تدوين و پياده سازي خط‌مشي‌هاي عمومي و همين طور همراهي و همکاري اثربخش شهروندان با دولت و نهادهاي عمومي نقش محوري ايفا مي‌کند از این رو در این اثر به بررسی ابعاد مختلف این موضوع پرداخته شده است.
